I'm Amber, a multidisciplinary designer bringing together visual thinking, marketing strategy, photography, and a mildly obsessive attention to detail.

When you’re responsible for everything from the first strategy conversation to the final website launch, you learn pretty quickly that no creative decision exists in isolation. Running a design studio has given me hands-on experience across brand, web, photography, copy, marketing, and production, and taught me how all of those pieces affect one another.

    Amber went above and beyond what I had originally imagined in such a way as to make me feel seen, understood and appreciated. While creating my brand identity and website Amber was able to capture the vision of my brand and greatly expand on it, never being satisfied until I wasn't just happy, but I was delighted by the results. There is a level of intuition and heart that is necessary for good design. I'm not sure where that resides, but Amber constantly lives in that space. If you're looking for a brand identity, website or both I can't recommend Amber + Afotik enough.

    Working with Amber was such a fun and genuinely helpful experience. I had a lot of ideas for my nail art brand, but they were kind of all over the place, and she helped turn them into something that felt clear, intentional, and very me. It’s like she took everything in my head and made it make sense.

    She really listened to the vibe I wanted (edgy, creative, not boring) and somehow made it feel polished without watering it down. The branding felt unique, detailed, and thoughtful, and she was great at explaining the decisions behind everything instead of just making things look pretty. She also built me a landing page in Squarespace so I had somewhere professional to send people besides Instagram, which made the whole thing feel so much more legit and easier for clients to reach out.

    I felt really seen and heard throughout the process, and the final direction gave me so much more confidence in what I’m building. I’d absolutely recommend Amber to anyone who wants branding that actually feels like them.
